When asked what would be the sign of the end of the age and of his coming, Jesus answers, "This GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and THEN shall the end come" (Matt 24:14). Evangelism and eschatology go hand in hand.
If the consummation of the age is based on the getting the KINGDOM message to the world, we are in trouble! Most of our gospel sermons are about going to heaven when we die! Very few are about the kingdom.
One reason I wrote "Heaven on Earth" was to call the church back to preaching the authentic gospel. Pray with me that it will receive wide circulation and accomplish this goal.
